Not only can you use ##TAGS## in your templates, you can also use them in canned messages for your invoices and ticket notes.  Below are some ideas how you can use ##TAGS## to generate guaranteed additional income from repeat customers!

To create canned messages for your ticket notes you can do this directly from the Tickets Notes area.  If you do not have a canned message configured, click Add New button.  If you want to edit existing canned messages you can do this via Settings->Ticket Notes:

Example 1 – AntiVirus Renewal Date.

Uses ##DATEADD_YEAR## to show customer their renewal date.  In our own repair shops, we also generate customers’ antivirus login username and password using ##TICKETIDNUM## as the unique identifier.  This will prevent your antivirus provider from emailing your customers about their annual renewals (often undercutting you!).

Example 2 – Annual Service Renewal

Example 2 uses ##DATEADD_YEAR## to not just create a renewal date for the Antivirus software but also to remind your customer when their annual service is due again.  Also, ##DATEADD_YEAR## is used to offer your customer an incentive to come back to you next year by offering £10 off their next annual service.
